Crystal Desktop is a handy tool that helps you organize your work on the computer. It makes managing virtual desktops super easy, so finding your icons and apps is a breeze, especially when your desktop gets cluttered.

Easy Access to Virtual Desktops

When you start up Crystal Desktop, it places an icon in your system tray. Right next to this icon, you’ll see three numbered buttons. These give you quick access to all your virtual desktops. If you prefer, there’s also an option to show an on-screen switcher that can help with this.

Customize Your Experience

You have a lot of options for customization! You can hide the tray icon if you'd like or even set Crystal Desktop to run automatically when Windows starts up. Want fewer distractions? You can hide tray notifications too! And if you're using Linux with KDE, there’s drag-and-drop support available!

Manage Your Desktops Like a Pro

If you need more virtual desktops, Crystal Desktop lets you increase or decrease their number (though this feature is only available in the registered version). You can also adjust how transparent the switcher appears or pick a different language for the user interface.

Smart Rules and Shortcuts

This app has some cool features that let you set up rules for each desktop. For example, each desktop can have its own unique icons, wallpapers, and screen resolutions. You can even create password protections for added security!

Add Conditional Rules

You can get really creative by adding if..then rules too! So if a window's title has a specific name or EXE file name, it can move itself to the right desktop automatically. Plus, you can specify exceptions based on active windows or classes.

Low Resource Usage

The great part about Crystal Desktop is that it doesn't hog your CPU or memory. This means it won’t slow down your computer at all! The app responds quickly and works smoothly without causing any crashes or annoying error messages.
