CryptoExpert Lite is a handy security tool that helps you create password-protected vaults. This keeps your private info safe from prying eyes. It's like having a personal locker on your computer!

Create Your Vault Easily

With CryptoExpert Lite, you'll notice it uses a familiar Windows Explorer style. It has a new toolbar and some tweaks to the context menu to make things easier. Want to create a new vault? No problem! Just follow the wizard where you can name your vault and choose where it goes on your computer. You can even set it as the default if you want.

Adjusting Vault Size

Need to set how big your vault should be? You can do this by moving a slider or just typing in the size directly in KB, MB, or GB. Super simple!

Set Your Password and Encryption

Next up, you get to pick a password for unlocking your vault and choose an encryption method (like CAST 128-bit or Triple DES 168-bit). You can also decide on how keys are created using SHA1 or RIPEMD 160-bit. If you want, CryptoExpert Lite can quickly format the new spot for your vault too. Plus, you'll get to select what file system type you prefer - NTFS or FAT.

Your Vault at Work

Once everything's set up, whenever you open a vault, an extra drive with its own letter will pop up. You can then manage files just like usual!

Additional Features

The toolbar has more options too! You can add existing vaults, make CryptoExpert Lite search for all vaults on your computer automatically, and even open them when your system starts up. Want to manage USB keys? Done! You can also generate key files and schedule when your vaults lock after some time.

User Experience

This app responds pretty well overall; it might take a moment to open or close a vault but nothing too crazy! It uses very little CPU and RAM so it won't slow down your computer at all. We didn't run into any error messages during tests; it performed smoothly without crashing.

A Great Solution for Security

CryptoExpert Lite is an excellent choice for securing data easily! Just keep in mind that while it's great at protecting info inside the vaults, it can't stop someone from deleting those files.
