What is Crypto Price Widget?

This simple app runs on Electron and shows you the latest coin prices right on your desktop. It tracks almost all popular cryptocurrencies but doesn't have a lot of customization options.

How Does It Work?

When you open the program, it automatically tracks some popular coins like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Litecoin. If you're not into these coins, don’t worry! You can easily remove them and add only the ones you want to watch.

Stay Updated on Prices

The widget gives you the current price of each tracked cryptocurrency along with any recent price changes in percentage form. Plus, you can see prices in your own currency as long as it's supported.

Your Portfolio at a Glance

You can even enter how much of each coin you own. This way, you can track their total value and get an overview of your portfolio through a nice donut chart!

Simplicity Over Complexity

The widget looks clean and straightforward but is maybe a bit too basic for some users. One downside is that it can't be minimized to the tray area—it'll always hang out in your taskbar.

Customization Options

It would be awesome if there were more ways to customize the look of the widget. Right now, apart from resizing it, you're stuck with its default design. We’d love options like changing fonts, adjusting transparency, or picking different background colors. A few extra themes would really jazz things up!
