Now, if you're connecting through an external device like a router, sometimes those events might not be caught. But no worries! By enabling the ‘Forcibly scan Internet (for router)’ option, Connection Watcher can check your Internet connection whenever you need it. Just remember that this scan interval is set in minutes.

Customize Your Alerts

If your connection drops or comes back online, Connection Watcher can play an alarm sound or a confirmation tone. You can choose the default sound or pick a different WAV file to play when these alerts happen.

Automate Actions with Programs

The best part? You can even program it to run specific applications when your internet connection goes down or comes back up again. Or set it to launch something special when it's detected for the first time. Once you're done setting things up, just hit OK or Cancel to hide the settings panel and keep only the monitoring button on your desktop.
