How To Access It?

Using Color Picker

The main window of this add-on lets you adjust three sliders for red, green, and blue values of a color. You can also enter numerical RGB values directly if that's easier for you.

Selecting Colors

You can choose from different formats like HTML, Delphi, C++, Visual Basic, integer, or RGB (triple). There’s even an invert button that shows you what the opposite color looks like as you move those sliders!

Two Types of Color Dialogs

The plugin offers two color dialog styles based on what you're comfortable using. The first one is like the classic Windows color picker where you can see basic colors and create custom ones too. The second dialog displays hexadecimal codes for whatever color you pick.

Inserting Colors

Once you've got your perfect shade picked out and hit "Ok", Color Picker Plugin will insert that color code right at your cursor's position in Notepad++. You can also check out a table with Delphi color names that includes previews, values, meanings, and hex codes—though it's not a huge list.

A Few Limitations

This plugin is great but does have some limitations. We kinda wished it could let us pick any screen color using our mouse instead of just selecting from the palette. Also, having features to convert between string forms would have been nice! And unfortunately, it can't be embedded directly into Notepad++ as a separate pane—so you'll need to switch back and forth between this plugin and your text document.
