Master Password for Security

The first time you open Cobbler, you'll need to set up a master password. This means only you will have access to your notes later on. Just remember: don’t lose that password! It’s the only way to get back into your stored data, and there’s no way to change it once you're in.

User-Friendly Interface

Cobbler keeps things simple. The main area is where you'll edit your notes, and there’s an upper toolbar with all the functions you need. You’ll also see a status bar that shows whether your work is saved, along with the date and size of the database file.

Input Limitations

However, there are some limitations. You can only input text via clipboard or by typing directly into the app. It would be nice if it could load TXT files too! Also, keep in mind that you can only create one database file for all your notes.

Search and Backup Features

On the brighter side, Cobbler has a search feature that highlights what you're looking for. You can even disable editing if you're worried about accidentally changing something important. And if you'd like to back up your notes, there's an option that takes you right to where the database file is stored.
