CloudyTabs is a cool little app for your Mac that lives in the status bar. It helps you see all the tabs you have open on any device that's connected to your iCloud account. So, if you're using Safari, it keeps an eye on what websites are open across your iPad, iPhone, or iMac.
To get the most out of CloudyTabs, make sure you’re logged into the same iCloud account on all your devices and using Safari. Once that’s set up, it will automatically show you all the tabs you've got open in Safari, no matter which device you used last.
You’ll see a list with the titles of each site. If you hold down the Command key, you can also check out the full web address! To visit a site, just click on it or use Command + Return when you're hovering over it.
The app can even launch a website in your default browser! You can choose to open all tabs that are currently active on a specific device. Plus, if you hover over the CloudyTabs icon, you'll spot when it last synced.
Now, a couple of things to keep in mind: while CloudyTabs should let you copy URLs to your clipboard, this feature doesn’t always work as expected. Also, it only tracks tabs from Safari—so if you're using another browser like Chrome or Firefox, this app won’t be much help.
If you come across something interesting on your phone or tablet and want to explore more on your computer later, CloudyTabs is super handy! It makes switching between devices smooth and simple.
