Clipboarder is a cool tool that really makes your clipboard work harder for you! While Windows Vista was the first to support gadgets, you can now use third-party apps to get similar features on newer Windows versions. Clipboarder lets you save multiple clipboard entries, which is super handy!

Getting Started with Clipboarder

To run Clipboarder, you need Windows Vista or 7. If you're on Windows 8 or 10, don’t worry! You can install 8GadgetPack or Gadgetarain, and it will work just fine. Once you have it set up, all you need to do is run the gadget once and it pops up right on your desktop.

Customizing Your Clipboard Experience

This gadget isn’t just practical; it's also customizable! You can move it around anywhere on your desktop and choose from over 20 different color themes to make it look just how you like.

How Clipboarder Works

Every time you copy something using Ctrl + C (or however else you do it), Clipboarder saves that entry as the first item in its list. In the settings panel, you can change how many items it saves and what gets displayed. Plus, there's an option to restore your clipboard at startup and even play a sound for each new item added!

User-Friendly Hotkeys

The default hotkeys are Win + C for cycling through saved items and Win + V for pasting them. If these keys conflict with other Windows functions, don’t worry—Clipboarder will let you know so that you can easily change them in the Settings panel. Using this tool doesn’t mess with how your clipboard normally works; it just gives you more flexibility!

Pasting Made Easy

If dragging and dropping sounds easier than using hotkeys, you're in luck! Simply hover over an entry to drag an icon where you'd like to paste text. Clicking on any entry opens it up in your favorite text editor.
