Locking Your Drive

When you lock a drive, it means that pressing the eject button won't do anything until you unlock it again. This way, whether it's an accident or on purpose, your CD/DVD tray stays put! Plus, CDRom-Lock lets you open and close the tray directly from its app interface—no need to mess around with buttons manually.

Startup Settings

This application can also remember how your drives were set up last time. When Windows starts up, it can either keep everything as is or automatically lock all drives for extra safety. It even saves the drive status while your computer is in standby mode and brings it back once you're ready to use it again!

No Recent Updates

Just a heads up: CDRom-Lock hasn’t seen any updates lately and isn’t supported by its developer anymore. So if you're running it on newer operating systems, some bugs might pop up here and there.
