CAMEO is a super helpful toolset for planning and reacting to chemical emergencies. It\u2019s created by the EPA\u2019s Office of Emergency Management and NOAA\u2019s Office of Response and Restoration. Basically, it\u2019s here to help those on the front lines, like emergency planners and responders.

What Can You Do with CAMEO?

With CAMEO, users can easily access, store, and evaluate crucial information needed to create effective emergency plans. It also helps folks stay in line with regulations by meeting reporting requirements under the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA), also known as SARA Title III.

Working Together with LandView

CAMEO works great alongside another application called LandView. This combo lets you view EPA environmental databases as well as demographic and economic info. This is really useful for tackling environmental justice issues!

How Does CAMEO Work?
