Battlestar is a cool TrueType (TTF) font that came out way back in 1996. It takes inspiration from the original Battlestar Galactica series, and it has this awesome futuristic vibe. If you're a fan and want to jazz up your documents, you can easily install it on your Windows computer.
The ZIP file you download from Softpedia is super lightweight. Inside, you'll find two files: one with all the font info and the actual TrueType font file (in TTF format). You can open it using the built-in Windows Font Viewer or any other third-party font reader you like.
Once you've got the Windows Font Viewer open, you can check out how every letter, number, and symbol looks in the Battlestar font. It's pretty neat because you can see all the characters displayed in different sizes! Just a heads up: there aren't any lowercase letters; they look just like their uppercase versions.
This fantastic Battlestar font was created with an older version of Macromedia Fontographer, a popular font editor for both Windows and Mac users. If you're happy with how your text looks in this unique style, installing or printing it is just one click away!
When you install the font, it'll automatically get saved to your C:\Windows\Fonts folder. If you ever want to remove it later, just head over to Control Panel and go to Appearance and Personalization > Fonts (for Windows 10 users). It's as easy as that!
