Description
ASCO FOR LINUX
Description:
ASCO aka A SPICE Circuit Optimizer is an open source project that aims to bring circuit optimization capabilities to existing SPICE simulators, using a high-performance parallel differential evolution (DE) optimization algorithm.
At the moment, ASCO includes out-of-the-box support for HSPICE (R), Eldo (TM), LTspice (TM), Qucs, ngspice, and Spectre (R).
With ASCO you can reuse and optimize an existing circuit, fully redesign a new circuit described in a SPICE netlist, easily explore a new operating point, migrated a working design to a more complex semiconductor technology, increase the yield and robustness of an already designed circuit, and much more.
