Description

Agilian is a multiplatform and commercial graphical software implemented in Java and designed to provide application developers with a complete modeling environment, especially crafted for applying agile modeling, as well as for removing the limitation of notations.

The project allows project managers, architects, analysts, developers, and designers to effortlessly and freely express their ideas with any notation that they find suitable. It has a wide variety of features, a decent price, and comes with support for all mainstream operating systems.

Key features include UML modeling, database modeling, requirement modeling, business process modeling, team collaboration, task management, impact analysis, SoaML modeling, reporting tools, wireframe, advanced modeling toolset and documentation generation.

With an enterprise architecture, Agilian also features a BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) toolset, business rules management, process simulation, various tools for database design, support for animated software design, as well as tools for gathering requirements.

The project is comes with tools for advanced modeling, Systems Modeling Language (SysML) tools, Unified Modeling Language (UML) tools, support for code engineering, the ability to produce requirement specification and to identify use cases from stakeholder.

Another interesting features is the ability to create wireframes and design UX (User Experience). You will also be able to tell stories by combining use case scenarios with wireframes, as well as to write use case scenarios with Flow of Events.

Agilian is a platform-independent application that has been successfully tested under the Linux, Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X operating systems. It is distributed as pre-built binary packages designed for both 64-bit and 32-bit architectures.

It is written entirely in the Java programming language, including its graphical user interface (GUI) and it’s fully compatible with any operating system where the Java Runtime Environment (JRE) is available.
