Aerial For Windows is a fantastic way to bring the stunning Apple TV screensavers right to your PC. When Apple launched their 4th generation Apple TVs, they included some amazing screensavers shot in beautiful spots around the globe like San Francisco, Hawaii, and even China. Since then, they've added even more breathtaking scenes!

Inspired by the Mac Version

This app was inspired by a similar project for OS X devices created by John Coates. You can also check out that version online. Both apps are quite alike but have some small differences we’ll talk about later.

The installation process is straightforward. You just need to run the installer and set Aerial For Windows as your new screensaver. Sure, there are some advanced settings you can tweak if you're into that, but honestly, setting it up is a breeze!

Diverse and Beautiful Videos

The videos showcase incredible scenes from both busy cities and tranquil places around the world, all captured with high-flying drones and played in slow motion. And don't worry about getting bored; there are plenty of videos to keep things fresh!

Day or Night - It Knows!

Some clips are filmed during the day while others are at night. The app smartly picks which ones to show based on what time it is where you live. Plus, if you're rocking multiple monitors, it can play different videos on each screen or keep them synced up.

Caching for Smooth Playback

If disk space is tight, you could stream the videos directly; however, I suggest letting the app cache them instead. This will make playback much smoother and save on internet usage too.

Feature Wish List

I do wish there was an option to disable certain videos when setting up the screensaver—something that's available in the Mac version. Fingers crossed that this feature comes to Windows soon!
