Absolute Backgammon is a fun board game that you can play on your Mac. If you haven't tried it yet, you're missing out! The idea is pretty simple: two players take turns rolling dice and moving their pieces across the board. The goal? Get all your pieces to the other side before your friend does!

Play Against Friends or the Computer

You can either challenge a friend or go head-to-head with the computer. The game starts with a single board design, but guess what? You can create your own boards too! Plus, if you prefer playing in different languages, you can easily switch between English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, or Dutch.

Customize Your Game Experience

In the Preferences window of Absolute Backgammon, you get to adjust how challenging the computer opponent is. Whether you're feeling like an easy win or want to face off against a club champ, it's all up to you! You can also choose how aggressive or conservative your computer buddy will play.

Select Your Rules

The cool part? You get to pick which rules apply during your game! Options include whether to use Doubling Cube, Jacoby Rule, and more. You can even set it so that certain moves are highlighted for you—so no worries if you're new to the game!

Rolling Dice and Making Moves

Once you're ready for action and roll those dice, just move your pieces based on what you've rolled. If you're unsure about your next move, check out the Suggestions panel where Absolute Backgammon shows all possible options for that roll. Just click on one of them to make it happen!

Keep Track of Your Game

No need to stress about remembering where you are in the game; just open up the “Info” tab and hit “Instant Replay” whenever you want. This handy feature lets you see how many rolls are left and gives you updates on who's winning.
