What is Abacus Math Writer?

Abacus MathWriter is a handy tool that works alongside Microsoft Word and other text editors to create documents filled with math expressions. It generates these expressions as bitmap images, which you can easily import into Word like any other picture.

Create Math Expressions with Ease

Using MathWriter is super simple! You'll go through two main steps:

• First, you build your expression on the Construction Panel.


• Then, you convert that expression into a bitmap image using the Save Image Panel.

Saving Your Work Made Simple

No worries about losing your progress! At each step, there are options to save what you've done. Your math expressions will be saved in an “Expressions” sub-folder as *.exp files, while the images will be saved in the “Images” sub-folder as *.bmp files.

Print Quality Matters

If you want your printed diagrams to look great, start by creating them large on the Construction Panel. After that, use the Save Image Panel to size them down for Word. This way, they'll look sharp when printed!
