What is 3D Desktop Destroyer?

3D Desktop Destroyer

3D Desktop Destroyer is a super cool screensaver that makes it look like your desktop is being torn apart! It can take a solid color or even a custom image and break it into smaller pieces right in a 3D space. Plus, you can totally tweak the settings to make the animation just how you want it.

Easy Installation and Customization

This screensaver comes with an installer and an uninstaller, which is pretty handy compared to some other similar products out there. If you're going for a custom image, make sure it's in one of these formats: BMP, JPG, PCX, PNG, PSD, or TGA.

Adjustable Settings for Fun!

You can change up the texture size, set how many cubes go horizontally and vertically, tweak the cycle pause time, and even decide on total children and generations for the animation. Depending on what you choose in these settings, 3D Desktop Destroyer will show you how many cubes are predicted to pop up!

Time Display and More Features

The screensaver can also show the time and date along with frame rates. You get to specify the target frame rate too! Want to use a different resolution than what you have? No problem! You can also enable exiting only when you hit the Escape key or turn off support for display power-downs.

Smooth Animation Experience

The quality of the animation really depends on how you've set everything up and your hardware's performance. We didn’t find any major issues during our tests; Windows stayed smooth without crashing or showing error messages while using this screensaver. Just keep in mind that 3D Desktop Destroyer hasn’t been updated in quite some time and may not work well with newer operating systems.
