Looking for something different?
I downloaded free version thinking the application screenshots/copies, searches font style, then allows you to save the content(from your selection). Thats what I was hoping to find. I havent tried the paid version but it looks like thats not what this app is for. More for extracting text from a picture, which is still handy but not what I need at the moment. Any suggestions? Thank you
Amazing functionality
I already purchased picatext (a completing product) but I find myself using the free Easy Screen OCR instead, because it automatically figures out the language of the captured text. The UI could be improved (the captured screenshot should appear in a floating window in the foreground), but this is a an extremely handy and functional app.
It's really not bad
Yeah, it is a bit weird that the application doesn't go to top after screenshotting or when clicking the preferences button, but it's free and it works (the OCR with Google is great btw), which for me, checks all the boxes
