Zetafax

Zetafax is a fantastic software package that runs on a PC network (LAN). It lets users receive faxes right on their screens and send faxes directly from their PCs. You can even merge documents onto letterhead and automatically generate a coversheet if you need one before sending it out!

How Does Zetafax Work?

So, one PC in your network acts as the fax server. This computer connects to one or more fax modems or fax cards. The cool thing is, this fax server doesn’t have to be a dedicated PC. Plus, with the Email Gateway feature, you can send and receive both emails and faxes from the same interface, making it super convenient.

Create Documents Easily

You can create documents for sending using just about any word processor or spreadsheet software. Want to add some flair? Faxes can even include graphics like signatures!

Supported Platforms

The workstation software works with Microsoft Windows 9X/NT/2000/XP. There are two versions of the fax server programs: a 32-bit version that runs smoothly on Windows 9X/NT/2000/XP Server or Workstation.

Sending a fax with Zetafax is way quicker than using a regular fax machine. After you type up your document, it only takes a couple of keystrokes or mouse clicks to send it off to one or multiple recipients! No more printing on fancy headed paper, writing out coversheets, and waiting at the machine hoping everything goes through.

The quality of the faxes received is also top-notch! Since they’re generated by your computer, they look sharp without all those annoying specks and fuzzy edges you get when manually scanning documents. It’s more like getting laser printer output instead of an old-school fax.

Zetafax comes with a full-featured address book that makes sending the same document to several people super easy. You can even personalize each document like you would with mail merge in Word.
