Interface and Functionality

As far as the interface goes, YouGet has a simple and stylish window that displays all options facilitated by the developer. You can paste a YouTube clip on top and enable the video slider if you want to download video clips or keep it disabled if you're only interested in the audio stream. If the video is accompanied by a subtitle, this can be downloaded, too, and embedded in the clip.

Downloading Options

As soon as you select the saving directory on your computer, you can start the downloading job. You can set a time range in hours, minutes and seconds if you want to download only part of the video instead of the whole thing, as well as pick the preferred audio quality.

Although there are visible buttons for choosing the audio and video format, it doesn't seem like this functionality has been implemented yet, but we suspect this will happen soon. Similarly, the button responsible for opening a menu (we assume) on the upper-left corner of the window doesn't have a function yet. Nevertheless, YouGet seems to be a promising software project for downloading YouTube content.
