Description
XText is a wrapper object of AppleScript's text object, offering an object-oriented interface to manipulate text and access advanced features. The parent of instances of XText is AppleScript's text object, allowing properties of AppleScript's text to be obtained from a XText instance in the same way as with a normal AppleScript's text object (string and Unicode text). Additionally, an instance of XText is immutable, similar to a Unicode or string class object.
