xTeam is a handy Mac OS X app that helps you manage your team's activities and keep track of their schedules. If you're working on a project, having control over resources and time is super important. With xTeam, you can easily consider things like weekly work hours, holidays, and even absences when planning.
Setting up xTeam is a breeze! You just drag and drop the app icon into your Applications folder. Remember, it won’t work if it’s in any other location!
When you open xTeam for the first time, it will ask if you want to import your contacts from the Contacts app on OS X. This means no more manual data entry! Managing your team members becomes much simpler.
The next step is all about creating a new database that keeps track of your team’s schedule. By default, xTeam sorts your resources into management, sales, and staff categories. You can enter each member's details, set their work schedules, and mark any days off they have coming up.
Your team's assignments are also organized into categories. Even though xTeam comes with some preset groups, you can easily rename them or change their color tags. Want to schedule a task? Just drag it over to the calendar view on the day you want!
xTeam makes life easier by automatically generating activity reports for both the whole team and individual members. You can switch between different viewing modes to preview these documents at any time.
If remote access is enabled, anyone on your team with the xTeamView app can check out the team’s schedule from anywhere! This feature is super useful for keeping everyone in sync.
