Description
WoTerm
WoTerm is a handy little tool that works like a remote control for your computer. It lets you connect to other computers and servers, which is super useful! This software supports several protocols, including SSH1, SSH2, Telnet, SFTP, and rlogin. All the connections you create are saved nicely so you can check them out later by clicking the List button.
How Does WoTerm Work?
Using WoTerm is pretty straightforward. To access another computer remotely, you need to have the host app installed on your device. You'll just enter your credentials and set up a few things. When you're ready to create a new connection, you'll fill in details like the type of connection, name, host and port information, login name, and even some proxy settings if you're using a proxy server.
Customizing Your Connection
Don't worry; you don't have to fill out every single field! Just the basics will do for most cases. Plus, WoTerm lets you tweak the scroll buffer size so it shows just how many lines you want. That way, it's easier to keep track of everything happening during your sessions!
Looks Matter Too!
You can also make WoTerm look exactly how you want it! There are four different themes to choose from: Github, Ubuntu, Pandora, and IC_Orange_PPL. You can change up the font size and style as well as pick what kind of cursor you prefer—like Ibeam or Block.
If you're interested in checking out WoTerm, it's definitely worth giving it a go! This software makes connecting to other machines easy while letting you customize your experience.
