Description

Worml

Worml is a great tool if you want to share files, links, or anything else easily with your friends or coworkers. It’s all about saving time and making sharing super simple. With Worml, you can send or receive data just by dragging and dropping. How easy is that?

Why Choose Worml for File Sharing?

The cool thing about Worml is that even though you have to create an account, the app only transfers information between the devices involved. There are no third-party servers messing with your data, which means everything happens quicker!

User-Friendly Interface

Using Worml is a breeze! In the status bar menu, you can see your current contacts and decide whether to make a public link or take a public screenshot. This area also lets you access the Preferences window where you can manage your contacts, set download locations, and tweak app settings.

No File Size Limits!

One of the best features of Worml is that it can handle all types of files without any size restrictions. Plus, it can create short URLs for files on your computer. Anyone with that link can download the file—even if they don’t have the Worml app installed!

Be Careful with Your Data

A heads-up: since Worml doesn’t seem to encrypt transferred data and doesn’t give you control over sharing rights, be cautious about what info you share publicly.

Testing Worml

During our tests, Worml worked really well overall. However, we couldn’t transfer data between different computers at that time. It did allow us to share public screenshots though—probably because they’re uploaded on the Worml.me server.

The Bottom Line on Worml

All in all, Worml offers a neat idea for efficient file sharing but might not hit all the marks yet. Plus, without encryption or robust security measures in place, just keep an eye on what kind of information you're sharing!
