How Does wKillcx Work?


wKillcx scans the TCP connection table to locate any matching connections. Once identified, it changes the state of the connection to MIB_TCP_STATE_DELETE_TCB within the MIB_TCPROW structure using the SetTcpEntry API.



Where to Find the TCP Connection Table?


The TCP connection table can be accessed through different Windows APIs. For older versions like Windows XP SP1 or Server 2003, it utilizes the AllocateAndGetTcpExTableFromStack API. On newer Windows versions, the GetExtendedTcpTable API is used.
