WinVDRStreamer is a super handy app that lets you stream VDR Live TV using VLC on your Windows computer. If you're into watching live TV, this tool can really make things easier for you!



Setting Up Your WinVDRStreamer


Getting started with WinVDRStreamer is a breeze! Here’s what you need to do:



  • Host Name or IP: Enter the host name or IP address for your VDR.

  • SVDRP Port: You’ll need to specify the SVDRP Port, which usually defaults to 2001.

  • Streaming Type: Make sure to choose the right Streaming Type for your setup.

  • StreamDEV Port: This defaults to 3000, so don’t forget to set that too!



Navigating with Hotkeys


The cool part about WinVDRStreamer is the easy navigation. Here are some hotkeys you can use:



  • Left-Key: Turn volume down

  • Right-Key: Turn volume up

  • Up-Key: Channel up

  • Down-Key: Channel down

  • F2: Open channels menu

  • F4: Toggle menu visibility

  • Alt + F4: Close the application
