Some sneak into the system tray, which can make things even more confusing. That’s where WinBoss Classic comes in! It lets you minimize all those windows to the system tray, keeping everything neat and tidy.

Simplified Design for Everyone

The cool thing about WinBoss Classic is its simple design. Even if you're not a tech whiz, you'll find it pretty easy to use. The app usually hangs out in the system tray until you want to change some settings. It has just one menu where you can see and control your options.

Minimize Windows with Ease

You have a couple of ways to use this tool. You can either minimize one program at a time or send them all to the tray at once! There are hotkeys you can set up too, which makes things even more practical—though don't get too excited about that!

The Panic! Button

If you ever feel overwhelmed by too many windows, there's a nifty “Panic!” button right from the tray icon that minimizes everything instantly. When you're ready to get back to work, you can restore them either individually or all at once. Plus, they go back exactly where they were—not just thrown around randomly!

A Few Drawbacks

One thing to note is that while you can create hotkeys for minimizing windows, restoring them only works through the tray icon. It's a little strange not having a shortcut for that since it would have been easy enough to add.

A Mixed Bag Experience

Overall, we think WinBoss Classic sits somewhere between being average and really useful. It’s user-friendly and those hotkeys definitely help out, but it feels like something's missing since restoring windows relies solely on the tray icon. Plus, there haven't been updates for a while now, leaving us wondering what’s next for this app.
