Description

WebGrapher

WebGrapher is a cool software built in Java that helps you analyze and graph your websites. It's like having a personal assistant to make sense of all the links and data on your site!

How Does WebGrapher Work?

So, here’s the deal: WebGrapher has two main parts. First, there’s the Web crawler. This little guy goes through your website, finds all the links, and checks them out. It collects useful info about your site.

Crawling and Analyzing Links

The Web crawler does its magic by scanning through everything on your site. It gathers data on how all your links connect to each other. This is super handy for figuring out if everything is working as it should!

The Grapher Feature

Next up is the grapher. Once the crawler finishes its work, it passes all that info to this part of the program. The grapher takes that raw data and creates a neat graph of your website. You can see how everything connects at a glance!

Visualizing with GraphViz

A fun fact: if you want to use just the graphing feature, you can totally do that! The grapher can work independently with any files that are compatible with GraphViz dotty format. So even if you're not using it for crawling, it's still super useful.
