Description

Web Data Extractor

Web Data Extractor is a cool software tool designed for those who really know their way around tech. It helps you grab all sorts of useful info from websites automatically. Think URLs, titles, keywords, descriptions, email addresses, and even images! Pretty neat, right?

Easy Installation

The installation process is super quick and easy. When you open Web Data Extractor, you'll see a classic-looking interface. It has a big window split into several sections that lets you set up everything for your data extraction session.

Setting Up Your Extraction Session

You can start by entering the URL you want to extract data from. Plus, you can choose how deep you want it to go when retrieving info and how many specific pages to process. You can extract metadata and URLs in different formats like base URL or full HTML/non-HTML URL. Want to create a list of URLs? You got it! You can also pick which search engines to consider and even set up an output CSV file for storing all that precious data.

Advanced Features

If you're not into using the search engine option, you can also follow links on other sites. There's a handy feature where you can make a whitelist or blacklist of keywords for URLs. You can select date ranges and valid domains too! Plus, if you're extracting data from pages, there are text filters available as well as options for parsing phone numbers and faxes.

User-Friendly Interface

The main application window lets you check out meta tags, emails, phone numbers, faxes, merged lists, URLs, and even inactive sites easily. You can decide how many jobs run at the same time. If you've saved your session before, no worries—you can edit properties anytime or resume right where you left off.

Performance Insights

During our tests with Web Data Extractor, we didn’t encounter any error messages or crashes. It uses just the right amount of CPU and RAM without slowing down your system’s performance! The only downside is that it hasn’t received updates in a while. But overall, it's packed with plenty of advanced features to help analyze websites closely and pull out all sorts of components!
