Description

WeatherEye

WeatherEye is a desktop weather app that keeps you updated on the current weather for any spot you choose. It’s super handy if you're planning your day!

Getting Started with WeatherEye

Before you dive in, you'll need to complete a quick wizard. This just means you’ll enter your location and decide whether you want to see temperatures in imperial or metric units. Easy, right?

User-Friendly Interface

Once you’re all set up, WeatherEye opens up a cool tab-based interface. Here, you can check out not only the current weather conditions but also a 5-day forecast, hourly updates, and even a 14-day trend! Plus, it shows satellite images and radar graphs along with some local photos.

A Clean Look

Aside from some ads popping up in the main window, WeatherEye is pretty easy on the eyes. It has a clean layout that focuses mainly on weather info which makes it nice to use.

Simple Configuration Options

The app isn’t cluttered with lots of settings. You’ll find just the basics: changing your units and adding new locations. That’s about it!

No Fancy Hardware Needed

You will need an internet connection to get those weather updates for your selected cities, but don't worry; WeatherEye runs smoothly on most Windows computers without needing any fancy hardware.

A Few Limitations

To wrap it up, WeatherEye is definitely helpful for keeping track of the weather. However, some users might wish for more features. For example, it doesn’t show weather info in the Tray icon and there are no options to customize notifications or updates. And yes, there are ads everywhere! They do include a help manual with the download, but keep in mind that it won't load on Windows 7.
