One of the best things about WeatherDan is that it sits in your Systray. This means you can check the weather without interrupting what you're doing. Just click the little icon in the Systray, and a small window pops up showing you all the important details like temperature, wind speed, humidity, pressure, dew point, visibility, and UV index. Sure, you can't move that frame around your screen, but opening and closing it is super easy with just a left mouse click.

Customize Your Settings

If you right-click on WeatherDan's icon, you'll find some handy settings to play around with. You can set your current ZIP code for accurate info, change radar coverage between 300 to 600 miles, display radar images, jump to Weather.com directly from there, and even set how often you want updates without having to restart anything! Plus, no annoying pop-ups or splash screens will get in your way while you're working.

Real-Time Doppler Radar

A standout feature is its animated Doppler radar. This lets you see real-time satellite images of weather changes happening nearby! It's great for tracking how conditions are shifting in your area. However, just a heads-up: this radar only works for US ZIP codes—so if you're outside the US, you might need to find another app that fits your needs.

Reliable Weather Forecasts

In summary, WeatherDan is reliable when it comes to getting detailed weather updates by ZIP code selection. It’s great at providing current conditions but lacks customization options like changing skins or colors and setting warning sounds. Also worth noting: temperatures are only shown in Fahrenheit—no Celsius option here!
