Weather Dock is a fantastic little app that steps in when Apple decides to skip adding weather info to the menu bar. If you’re not into widgets, this app is definitely what you need! There are tons of weather apps out there, but many are either too basic or come with a price tag. Luckily, Weather Dock avoids both those problems.

Free and Feature-Packed

This app gives you a lot more weather info than most other free options. You can easily see the current temperature right in your menu bar. Plus, it shows extra details like how it feels outside, the unit of temperature, a brief weather description, and even the name of your city!

Customizing Your Location

The default setup shows the weather for your current location. But if you want to check the forecast for somewhere else? No problem! Just click on the menu bar icon to pop up an extra info panel. The location name is editable too! Just click on it and type in whatever place you're curious about.

Comprehensive Weather Details

Alongside temperature info, Weather Dock also gives you details like humidity levels, wind speed, pressure readings, sunrise and sunset times, and even air quality information! You can hover over the air quality indicator for more specifics.

Forecasts at Your Fingertips

The app doesn’t stop there; it provides an hourly forecast for where you are now and a daily forecast for up to a week ahead! If you hover over any day in the daily forecast, you'll get even more detailed information about that day's weather.

Perfect for Most Users

If you're not looking to keep track of multiple locations at once, Weather Dock is perfect for you. While you can change your location whenever you want, just remember that only one location can be monitored at any time.
