Description
Vivia is a video editing program for Linux and Windows that offers very user-friendly editing of DV video material.
"Vivia" features:
· Efficient and easy editing of clips and transitions
· "Multi-cam" edit mode: support for natural editing of scenes that were recorded by multiple cameras simultaneously, as is typical in music videos and interviews
· Support for multiple "scenes" in a single project
To compile on linux:
1) make sure that you have Qt 4.1, SDL 1.2, and OpenGL installed.
2) run ./build-ffmpeg-linux.sh
3) cd src
4) qmake
5) make
Requirements:
· Qt 4.1
· ffmpeg
· libsdl
· OpenGL
What's New in This Release:
· BUGFIX: Fix scrollbar bug in Multicam mode
· BUGFIX: Fix inability to load image files on Windows
· New interface for editing clips and transitions
· Swap out OpenGL interface and use SDL instead, because too many people don't have accelerated OpenGL drivers. OpenGL will be added again in the future.
