Getting Started with VigCal

When you first open VigCal, it’ll ask if it can use your location and connect to some of your built-in OS X apps like Contacts, Calendar, or Reminders. This setup creates two separate calendars: one for work and another for home or family stuff.

Create Your Own Calendars

You have the freedom to create as many calendars or contexts as you want! Just start adding events or tasks into each category. To make things easier, VigCal assigns different color labels to help you distinguish between everything.

Your Information at a Glance

The coolest part? All your info is displayed right in the main window of VigCal. You can see upcoming deadlines and view your calendar for the day, week, or month along with all your notes!

Weather Updates on the Go

If you enable location services, VigCal will even show you the weather conditions for where you are! How convenient is that?

Customize Your Experience

To save time on repetitive tasks, VigCal lets you customize default settings for events, tasks, and notes. You can change what calendar to use by default, how much time each entry gets, and their visibility in your calendar view.

Security Features & Notifications

You can also secure the app’s interface with a passkey if you want an extra layer of security. In the Preferences section of VigCal, set up alert sounds and choose when to get notifications about upcoming events.

Add Media & Sync Across Devices

A cool feature is that VigCal allows you to attach media files or documents to each entry. Plus, it syncs with iCloud or VigCloud so all your devices stay updated! And don’t forget about its companion app for iOS devices!
