VAT Calculator is a simple macOS application with a self-explanatory name. Basically, it enables you to enter an amount value and then add / subtract the VAT or Sales tax from a compact user interface.

After entering the input amount, VAT Calculator provides the resulting Net, VAT and Gross sums.

The VAT Calculator application includes a tiny standard Cocoa-based user interface with an macOS-like grey background.

From the main window, you can enter the input amount, choose to include VAT or not, adjust the VAT Rate (from 0 to 20 %), access the settings, clear the values or begin calculating.

In the Settings panel, you can easily customize the VAT rate slider values (from 0 to 100 %) that best suit your needs. A total of 5 slider values can be adjusted.

By default, the following percentages are provided: 0.0 %, 5.0 %, 15.0 %, 17.5 % and 20.0 %. If you do not like your changes, you can reset to the default ones. To continue with your values, simply click the Save button.

VAT Calculator also makes it simple to copy the Net, VAT and Gross amounts to your clipboard by using the button on the lower side of the window.

As a bonus feature, you can command the application to alway stay on top when you want to use it while working with other apps.
