User-Friendly Options

Here are some key features:

• If you want to use yEnc encoding, be careful—it doesn’t work with MIME! I recommend sticking to Base64/MIME instead.


• The '-c' option lets you delete all files if anything was decoded from them—be cautious because it doesn’t check for other data!


• You can enable autorename (-a), which renames output files if they already exist (like foo.gif turning into foo.gif.1).


• If you use '+a', it adds a unique number before the last dot in filenames while keeping the extension (so foo.gif becomes foo.1.gif).


• The 'more mime' option (-z) makes sure UUDeview isn’t too eager when searching for encoded data in MIME messages.
