Usermin

Usermin is a cool, open-source web app that lets regular users tweak different functions on a UNIX/Linux system. So basically, if you're not an admin, you can still do some basic system tasks without needing special access. It’s like a lighter version of Webmin, made just for Linux users who don’t have root privileges.

With Usermin, even non-root users can handle things like setting up Procmail configurations for email forwarding or configuring autoresponders on an email server. Plus, it helps with spam filtering! You can also view and manage data in PostgreSQL and MySQL databases, edit Apache .htaccess files, and interact with fetchmail. Need to change passwords or run some commands? No problem!

Personalize Your Experience

You can customize your Usermin experience too! Change the language and theme when you log in. Update your UNIX username info like your real name or phone number. You can even create one-off At jobs or encrypt/decrypt files using GnuPG.
