If you're dealing with corrupted or missing RAR archives, no worries! unRarX uses the par2 command line application to help recover them. Just drag and drop your par or par2 files onto the main window, and let unRarX do its magic.

Password Protection Made Simple

You can even access password-protected RAR files without breaking a sweat! To extract an encrypted archive, just enter the password through the Password slide sheet, drag over the archive, hit “Extract,” and unRarX will handle everything else.

Improved Decompression Engine

While unRarX doesn’t use the latest UNRAR decompression engine by default, we’ve upgraded it so that it works smoothly with UNRAR 5.10’s algorithm. You can easily download this improved version here!
