What is UFRaw FOR LINUX?
UFRaw (Unidentified Flying Raw) is an open source utility that helps users to read and manipulate RAW images downloaded from digital cameras. It is based on DCRaw, Dave Coffin's RAW conversion utility.
Being distributed both as a standalone app or as a plugin for the popular and powerful GIMP image editor, UFRaw allows users to apply ICC color profiles by supporting full color management workflow, thanks to Little CMS.
UFRaw supports embed EXIF information, zooming and cropping, sharpening, supports Canon (CRW, CR2), Nikon (NEF), Pentax (PEF), Sony (SR2, ARW), Samsung (PEF), Fuji (RAF), as well as the DNG file format from Adobe.
