Typing Stats is a handy app that keeps track of what you do while typing on your computer. It gives you cool stats about your daily activity, like how many words and characters you've typed, plus your words per minute. If you're a writer or just someone who types a lot, this tool can be super helpful!

Easy Installation

Getting Typing Stats up and running is a breeze! You won’t have to deal with complicated setups or extra software. Just make sure you have the .NET Framework installed since this app was built using it.

User-Friendly Interface

The app has a simple interface that follows the standard .NET Framework design. It may not win any beauty contests, but it's easy to use and navigate around.

Your Typing Activity at a Glance

Typing Stats keeps an eye on your typing activity nonstop. It collects data to calculate how many words and characters you type per minute, average characters per word, and total counts for both words and characters. Plus, you can copy this report to your Clipboard or save it as a plain text file!

Minimize for Convenience

You can set the program to start minimized in the system tray so it won’t clutter your screen. It can also run automatically every time Windows starts until you decide otherwise. Your preferences are saved in an .xml file when you exit the app.

Performance Insights

This tool doesn’t bog down your computer's performance; it runs smoothly without using much CPU or RAM during our tests. However, we did run into some glitches where it didn’t record any typing tasks at times. We even got an error message when trying to create a TXT report.

A Note on Updates
