TS IV Measurement Software is a handy tool that helps you check how well solar cells perform using an Agilent B2900 series source meter. With this app, you can easily measure how stable light sources are over time and even run a Dark IV analysis. Plus, you can export the results to Excel for later use!
Before diving in, it's best to install and open the software as an administrator. Make sure all your drivers for the Agilent device are up-to-date too! When you launch the program, it should automatically find your gadget and set up a communication link with the source meter. You’ll be asked to enter some test info right when you start, but don’t worry—you can change or fill in those required details anytime.
This software is designed to help you recreate the conditions needed for illuminated IV tests. That way, you can measure important metrics like sweep volts and currents for solar cells. You’ll be able to track parameters such as VPmax, Pmax, Voc, Isc, Jsc, FF%, Eff%, and Ipmax—all crucial for understanding solar performance.
The application has a manual load option; however, the easiest route is to use the auto-sweep mode. If your project needs specific parameters instead, feel free to switch to manual mode and enter your sweep range there. Just remember: only choose manual mode if you're confident in the values you're entering! Incorrect settings could lead to wiring issues or exceed current limits—which can be risky for both you and your equipment.
This software is perfect if you're working with solar technology and need accurate measurements quickly!
