Touchatag Processing is a free and open-source library that helps you connect and read from affordable Touchatag RFID readers on both Windows and Mac OS X. With this handy tool, you can easily manage multiple Touchatag readers at once, plus have up to three tags connected to each reader. This is mainly due to some performance limits of the tags themselves when using the Touchatag RFID reader.

Compatibility

This library has been tested on several systems, including Windows 7 Professional, Windows XP SP3, and MacOSX 10.6.5, working well with Processing versions from 1.0.9 up to 1.2.1.

How to Get Started

Here are some easy steps:

• First, download the drivers for your Touchatag readers from this link. (You won't need the Touchatag software client.)


• Next, grab the Touchatag Processing library from the Downloads section of this website.


• Then place the "touchatag" folder into processing\libraries.

• If you're using a Mac: (1) drag both libnfc.0.dylib and libusb-0.1.4.dylib into your install application found in touchatag\library; (2) ensure you have Java SE 6 32bit installed.
