Installing ToggleRes is a breeze! It won’t take much of your time. Once you install it, the program creates two executable files: one to switch the resolution profiles and another for setting them up.

Configuring Your Resolutions

The first thing you’ll do is set up your two resolution profiles in a small, user-friendly panel. You can choose from various resolutions, like 640x480 all the way up to 1920x1080. You also get to select the color depth—8-bit, 16-bit, or 32-bit—and pick between 60Hz or 75Hz frequency. Just click a button, and boom! Your changes are applied.

Switching Profiles Made Simple

After setting everything up, switching to your other resolution profile is super simple. Just double-click on that second executable file and watch it work its magic—no need for extra confirmation! You can even create a desktop shortcut or pin ToggleRes to your taskbar for easy access whenever you need it. One little downside? There’s no hotkey support right now.

No Performance Issues

In our tests, ToggleRes didn’t slow down our machine at all! It uses very little CPU and RAM, so it runs smoothly without causing any hang-ups or crashes—even on newer Windows versions. While it hasn’t been updated in a while, it still gets the job done without any fuss!
