Considering that the Metro design principles put an emphasis on simplicity, but still provide fast and fluid interactions, bold and vibrant colors and a clean content, it does not come as a surprise that developers would like to integrate it with their work. Then again, it is not just about the looks and feels, but an equally strong reason to go for a Metro design is the convenience of unification across platforms.

TMS Metro Controls Pack is a component package that contains controls for generating Windows applications featuring the Metro design language. These components allow developers to change the style of UI controls form-wide or application-wide.

For example, if you were to add a Metro menu, then you can design the buttons with an automatic color adaptation of black and white or make it fully transparent. Scrolling through the menu can be done via a flat scroller style and benefit from automatic scroll handling based on child controls in a scroll box.

Based on the nature of the tool, you can also integrate caption areas with regular and caption text or a built-in progress animation. Moreover, you can integrate categories and items with checkboxes or HTML formatted text, which can be further customized with hyperlinks and custom drawing.
