What is TkHTMLtidy FOR LINUX?

TkHTMLtidy is a handy Tcl/Tk front-end for Tidy, which is the W3C tool that helps clean up and format your HTML, XHTML, or XML files. If you've ever struggled with messy code, this tool is here to help you tidy things up! Plus, it supports almost all of Tidy's options, making it super flexible for your needs.



System Requirements


Requirements:



  • Tcl/Tk (version >= 8.4, because of the spinboxes)

  • Tidy


While installing TkHTMLtidy isn't mandatory, we definitely recommend it for a smoother experience!



Installation Tips


To get started with TkHTMLtidy, you'll need to have root access or use sudo to install it correctly. Here’s how you can launch the installer:


./install

This command will copy the script over to /usr/local/bin, so you can access it easily whenever you need!



What’s New?


This latest release comes with a cool addition: an option called --wrap. This new feature makes working with your HTML even easier and helps you manage your code more effectively.
