TJWS is a cool little web server that’s lightweight and super secure. It’s made to be easy to use, flexible, and it packs a punch without taking up too much space—just about 76K! Plus, it plays nice with CGI and J2EE/JSP.
This server comes loaded with features that you’d expect from full-fledged web servers. It even has servlet container capabilities! If you’re into coding, you’ll love how small the Java code and the resulting bytecode are.
The main goal of TJWS is to help you run and debug servlets. But hey, it doesn’t stop there! You can also use it as a regular web server for sites that don’t have heavy traffic—think low to medium load.
One of the neat things about TJWS is its versatility. It can even run on PDAs like the Sharp Zaurus LS5xxx or on handheld devices powered by Windows CE—just make sure you have JVM installed!
TJWS gives your PDA some extra flexibility. You can use file upload and download servlets to make file syncing a breeze. This lets you control your PDA right from your web browser!
NOTE: If you want to check out the contents of the WebServer folder in the archive, you'll need to open a Terminal window first. Navigate to the folder containing WebServer and type in this command: “sudo chmod +rwx WebServer”
