What Are Sight Words?

How Does It Work?

Using Tic-Tac-SightWords as a teaching tool for kids is super easy! The game works like this: the app says a word out loud, and you need to find the correct spelling on the Tic-Tac-Toe board. If you click on the right answer, it turns into an X. The app automatically changes one of your wrong answers into a 0. If you get three Xs lined up—in a row, column, or diagonal—you win!

Customizing Your Game

To play a level, you need at least five words set up. The cool thing is that Tic-Tac-SightWords allows you to create up to nine levels with any words you want, plus their phonetic pronunciations. It even has built-in text-to-speech features so it can say the words out loud for you!

Selecting Voices

You can pick from different voice templates available on Windows: David, Hazel, and Zira. Plus, it's easy to import or export sight words in special Tic-Tac-SightWords format.
