Therenect is a free and open-source virtual Theremin for the Kinect controller.
Explicitly, Therenect defines two virtual antenna points that allow you to control the volume and pitch of a simple oscillator.
You will be able to adjust the distance to these points by moving the hand in three dimensions or by reshaping the hand, which allows gestures that should be quite alike to play an actual Theremin.
