One of the best things about this program is its friendly interface. You can easily follow the plan you've set up thanks to different tabs that keep everything tidy. In the Planning phase, you can enter your premise, write a synopsis, and even pick a template for your storyline.

Speaking of templates, The Novel Factory offers several options based on a three-act structure! You can tweak them however you like—add details or swap them out entirely to fit your vision.

Your Digital Agenda

This app isn’t just for writing; think of it as your digital agenda too! You can store ideas, descriptions, and even visuals of characters or settings. The Character tab helps you keep track of everything about each character—from their height and age to what drives them in the story.

Locations and Scenes

The Locations tab lets you describe places in detail with graphic representations or maps if you'd like! And don’t forget about the Scenes tab; it automatically creates a list of scenes based on what you've outlined in the Extended Synopsis section.

Stay Organized with Submissions

The Submissions tab is where you'll keep editor notes along with any follow-ups. It’s also handy for storing useful links, literature lists, or notes—all organized neatly into separate tabs. Plus, there’s a Statistics tab that tracks your progress and average writing speed!

Easy Importing/Exporting & Spell Check

You’ll love how easy it is to import or export characters, locations, scenes, or even your manuscript since everything is saved as its own file. And don't worry about typos; there's a spell check tool included that uses imported dictionaries!
