Easy Installation and Setup

Getting started with The Magic Folder is a breeze! The interface has a tiny frame that you can drag around your screen. Just use your mouse to move it wherever you like.

Quick Access to Your Folders

To open a folder, all you need to do is pick one from the drop-down list. The Magic Folder will pop it right up for you! If you want to change things up, just go into the 'Options' menu and select a new folder name—like Internet Favorites or Document Files—and choose the directory using the folder view.

Customize Your Experience

You can also give The Magic Folder some personality! Choose how it looks by picking different styles, colors, and sizes. Want less hassle? You can turn off file move confirmations and set up watched folders, so files get sorted based on their extensions automatically.

Light on Resources

No need to worry about your computer slowing down. This small program uses very little CPU and memory. During our tests, it was super responsive! We didn't run into any freezing or crashing issues at all.

A Few Limitations

However, there’s one downside: you can't rename the preset folder names. Also, keep in mind that The Magic Folder hasn’t had an update in quite a while.
